I got your Jeep thing...now it burns when I pee! Ha, sorry, couldn't resist. A lot of my friends are Jeep guys and I love wheeling with them but I'm personally a 100+ MPH through the woods type of guy. One of my favorite shots of me in action:
Going wheeling the day Hurricane Charley hit New England seemed like a good idea at the time! I had to pull my head mechanic's Jeep out with the team service truck...an old Explorer. Shot with a crappy leave-it-in-the-glovebox-just-in-case-something-cool-happens P&S.
One of the bad things about wheeling is that it sometimes takes your camera money away from you...
Our trucks come first when it comes to mod money. I got a bonus at work this past year which is the only reason I have a wide angle lens and a polarizer on my camera. Having 2 wheeling trucks just makes it that much more $$ haha.
Happy to see you got your breakage all fixed
We just got back from a week of wheeling in Moab, UT.
LOTS..and LOTS of video too haha. I'll start a thread and post a link in this thread. I'll include a link to my youtube.
Few notes..it was our honeymoon. Don't EVER go to Moab if the forecast says "windy." Windy for 7 days in a row, sand blasted every single day. On Hells Revenge trail the winds were gusting at 60-70mph..it was pushing us all over the place and I had to have help opening the door to the truck haha.

No, kind of miss it. The thing is my real job went from 4-days a week to 5, which took away my processing / posting day, so I finally pulled the plug on it. I've been thinking about going back to the track, at least for one race....just for "old" times sake.

Shoot the Byron GP they are supposed to have in the fall. I did it last year and it was a blast.

I've been checking the Nuke series schedule....was going to try to hit at least one of those. I also want to get up to Blackhawk Farms for some more road racing...bikes or cars.
now why haven't I seen pictures of the Jeep before Kdog?! Nice setup! and awesome pictures of it as well..as usual
Haha, thanks Natalie. I should have mentioned your Nissan is looking pretty studly as usual. I just got through installing the lift on my Jeep myself and pretty proud of that. I know you guys built your own trucks. Still don't think my Jeep can hang with your Nissan, but I wouldn't mind trying it some time.
Cheers,
-joel
PS: here's a buddy's brand new JK 4 door. He hasn't even changed out the factory oil yet and has it all decked out already.

Thanks..we are proud of what it has become. The modding never stops as my husband doesn't even know what that word means lol. Jeeps are pretty capable stock but that lift looks great on there. I bet you could hang with us on a good number of trails. If we ever head up that way or if you ever feel like coming down this way I would be happy to wheel with you and see that Jeep in action. Won't be doing anything anytime soon with these 100 degree temperatures..stupid summer! A coworker of mine got one of the 4 door JK's not too long ago. He's already gotten a front bumper on it and is working on the suspension next.

Thanks Andy, I take it this one is yours? It needs some mud...<img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" >
Yeah, brand new a week ago - I had her in the mud up in the Adirondacks a few days ago, but she got a good hosing today....

If I post it, please tell me how to make it better. My fragile ego can take it.
That's not flex.
That's me removing the tire, a buddy grabbed my camera to capture the moment.
Just a typical trail repair. Parts required: new axle shaft and ball joints.
Safety first!
Not to worry though, a few hours later I was back on the trail.
That is why i have made the decision to stick with photography! Less breakages that way!!!
I recently shot a rock crawl, i will post some pics shortly!
BTW, great trail shots!

I'm guessing no front locker on that one.

He had one, but it wasn't wired up yet...this was his first run, testing out the build to that point.
Oh, and nice jeep, thanks for sharing as well..
Dropped through the ice and got high centered....a little tug was in order.
National Topless Day....Feb. 3, 2010.
Mine...a little smaller than the rest but I love her the same.
