    no joke tho if you look in bird id books they do not have all birds ,Harry your duck id book is a NS. now when you look up ducks the only 2 I see will bills like this are ruddy duck and NS .Bens duck [i have same shot] looks like a NS but the color is nothing like yours or the books id color in the 3 books i have looked in .Now that said I am going to post a picture that I will not ID but I have id the bird but only with help .

    I find it interesting that we all ( me too!!) spend so much time and effort getting sharp, detailed, colorful images of birds, and the two I posted that get commented on were both silhouettes. ne_nau.gif
