    Hello,

    Waited at this spot a long time. When the opportunity came I had miscalculated - thought I was high enough to get a full reflection.

    Mike, I love the Flamingo shots, the colors and the abstraction. I really do. Are they recent? If so I would enter them. IMO, they are great!!!!

    Thanks Ginger. They are recent. Still working on an idea. I had "the shot" yesterday. Unfortunately I didn't have my DSLR and had grabbed my parents cheapo P&S. I got a pic..but it's too blurry to take seriously. Slow shutter release, poor lighting (dusk) high ISO and small sensor made for a pretty noisy image. It was an interesting shot of a snowy egret's reflection. He was in flight...ahh what the heck. Here's the one that got away.

    This will probably be headed for the trash can soon. :cry
