Hello my names gus & today i didnt test drive a mini...but i did test a..a..a ..i cant say it, you'll have to look.
Well im over 40 & wear a hat.
You Ozzies definitely love your big saloons.
That is a nice ford you looked at, but personally, if I was in Oz, I'd be driving a Holden, they have a few I like quite a bit.
Andy,
I'm really really glad you bought a fun car and not some crappy chrysler!!! But, are those just big wheels on there, or is it an S? I don't see a hood scoop in that photo.
Problem is if andy wants to keep that car for a long time he is gonna have to change his eating habits. All you can eat rib dinners, and all you can eat cherry ripe dessert bars don't go with a mini.

Cooper S. 163bhp at 4000rpm I believe.
17inch rims. I believe that the car would accelerate better with 16 inch rims because of the weight difference but 17's FTW!
They sure do. Last I checked Ford owned: Lincoln, Mercury, Mazda, Aston Martin, Jaguar, Volvo, and Land-Rover.
Not that that is a bad thing.
My grand parents have a pair of matching S40's, his red w/ a manual trans, hers green w/ an auto. Gramps was a big Mazda fan back in the early 90's. Ended up in a 626 because they had stopped making affordable 2-door coupes. He hated it! ~8 mo into that fiasco they traded grams' ~15 year old 240GL for the first S40. He was so jealous he traded his 626 at a huge loss 2 months later. Fun, very comfortable car.. Both cars have been problem free for them.
One of my co-workers has a Volvo. It's a shop queen...just so you know.
Yeah i know but its a company car so im not paying for it.
When i walk up to a car there are a few very important points i look for.
1/ Does it smell good ?
2/ Can it support roof racks ?
3/ Will its pop-out drink holders take those new giant $3 rainbow slushies from the BP servo down the road ?
@ $3.60 USD for a US gallon of premium...no thanks.
pfft.
the v8 is FUN! (and i get 18mpg in town...22 hwy in my 4,610 lb meatball)
and if it's that much fun in my oversized meatball, i'd love to drive the new s80 with it under the hood. (actually i'd love to see one in the next s60r...but I doubt that will happen)
Well its not the greatest photo, will get a better one after I wash it but heres my car:
its a 1990 Honda (Acura over there) Integra. the 1.8litre manual one. Had a few updates...Sports suspension and sports air intake. Needs new rims though

A manbag then possibly ? That would go with the Manziere or the Bro.
As Kramer would say, this car has serious GIDDY UP!

s60r...mmmm.
of course, i may be partial.
now if they would only make a s80r and throw some forced induction on the v8...
Are you going to sell it in 6 months?
Catapultam habeo. Nisi pecuniam omnem mihi dabis, ad caput tuum saxum immane mittam

This thing handles like a race car man - totally a blast to drive! 6speed, lots of giddyap.
I may sell it in 3 months, or 20 months. Who knows? But, these things are holding their value really well vs. lots of other cars.

the photo you showed earlier was a s60r
if your company is paying for a s60r...take it and find some fun road.
What he sez. Funniest line of the day: "Dad, can I have the keys?"
Not.

Art washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life...Picasso
a 1998 Pontiac Bonneville SSEI
or a 1999 Ford F-250 extended cab
such a tough decision...
