Okay all you folks who have PhotoShop Elements 3 you can do this OOB stuff too clap.gifclap.gif all you need to do is download the free plugin that gives you CURVES from ..... http://www.earthboundlight.com/phototips/photoshop-elements-curves.html as the package includes MASKS as I found out accidently after many hours of frustration trying to figure out how I too could do OOB's not having access to PhotoShop CS.

Here's my try at this very addictive technique....enjoy... Skippy (Australia)

OMGoodness....this thread is so cool! These are the neatest pictures!!

I want to play too....can this be done with Paint Shop Pro XI?
I won't get PS Elements 5 until the end of the week and I do not know if I can wait!!!!!

They need to have a "biting fingernails" smilie. That's what I do everytime I come to DGrin....I just get so excited!!!!

    GREAT PHOTOS EVERYONE!!!

Hi there :D the tutorial can be adapted to other programs, it's a matter of finding out if your program has work arounds or the same tools, just located in a different area of your drop down menus.

I just brought PhotoShop Elements 5 as well, I don't have mine yet either.
It can be pretty frustrating when you see things get posted on Dgrin that you wish you could do too... if only you had the right tools ... oh well .. rolleyes1.gif

    I hear ya........yep I hear ya ..... Skippy (Australia)

Oh, yay! These are REALLY cool. My clicker finger is tried from all the clicking to add the mask though! :)

Here's my first try. (If it wasn't 11:40 and if I didn't have to be up by 5:30 I could see myself doing this for hours!) Thanks for the link to the tutorials!

This one was done by the tutorial guy,

Anyone know how to get all those little hairs on the legs, paws, and ears like that? I can't image that he clicks every pixel. Someone mentioned something about a "fur" brush??

O.K. I Oob'd instead doing other things that needed to be done....

Wasn't sure why it did not look quite right. I see that the other posted images have frames that are wider--will do next time--and there definitely will be next time, and a next, and so on, and so on....:ivar

** also, I have photoshop 6.0 and I can't find the "warp" to warp the frame. Does 6.0 not have warp or is it just hiding somewhere?
