You guys are good! this is harder than it looks, especially on a 12" laptop with a bulky trackpad instead of a pen or mouse........
What fun trying to learn this, translate it to PSE3 and try and acheive results. Like always, the better the beginning photo, the better the results.

Much fun!
It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.
OK..since you PC people are having so much fun
The original link with the zip file is for PC's....well, I'm a Mac guy....so where's the tutorial for Mac? I wanna play...whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

I've never heard of a modern mac that can't open a zip file. Did you try opening it? The contents of the zip is a pdf file. I'm not sure why it's zipped. Perhaps an attempt to compress the file for storage and downloading.
I figured I'd try my hand at this too, I'm nowhere near as good you guys but I still think it looks kind of cool.
I really like this with the added text and bezeled frame, etc. How did you get the fram to be different sizes. That is not on the tutorial is it? Nice job.
My Gear:D200, D80, 50 f/1.4, 28-75 f/2.8, 55-200 f/4-5.6, 18-55 f/3.5-5.6, 70-200 f2.8, (4) White Lightning Ultra 1200's, SB600, (2) Lightspheres, 17" Macbook Pro, 24" Apple Imac, Thinkpad T42, Epson R-260, PSCS2, Adobe Lightroom, Apple Aperture, PS Elements 4

When you do the "contract" step and the tutorial states "enter 30", if you choose a higher pixel number you'll get a thicker frame. Likewise if you higher res. picture you'll need a bigger number to get the "normal" size frame.

I've got no clue about beval though
But if you look at his/her image, the bottom edge of the frame is larger than the top and sides... was wondering he they acheived that.

Thanks, I just messed arround with the "perspecitve" and "distort" tools under the free transform or modify or what ever the tool is. For the bevel I just used "blending options" on the frame layer and set it to "bevel and emboss."

ok greaps...youve had your fun. Now i want to see a curve on that photo.
I use PS 7 and there is no warp command where the tutorial shows it... Does anyone know how to do it with PS 7?
In the mean time, imagine the frame warped on this one...
