Phyxius (Christina) is arriving in the area late Tuesday, I am arriving first thing Thursday morning. We are starting to plan what to shoot on what day. (and I am planning shopping in between, if the cdn dollar rallies)

The party is dinner at the brewery and it'll be a blast but that is the only "official" thing, complete with Nik's photo booth! There will be lots of other activities going on I'm sure. How can you not when you have a bunch of Dgrinners getting together? I think Christina went ahead and started a thread for shooting plans, somewhere in the Big Picture...
Looking forward to it! I will be there. Be good to meet some folks face-face that are going on the 2009 shootout as well (I'm in!).
If you are looking for some food when you are not taking pictures, there is a great place nearby where I have my first solo exhibit!! I have two series of images, "Rockscapes in the Valley of Fire" and "Rock Textures in Point Lobos" and also some of my Yosemite Images. The restaurant is 3 miles away from the Tied House in nearby Sunnyvale at a new restaurant called the Rok Bistro. It is a fondue (cheese and chocolate) and Hot Stone place - they serve your entre' on a 700 degree rock and you cook it (steaks, fish, wild game, chicken). It isn't cheap dining, so you can drop in to just view the artwork!! There is also a weekly farmers market on Murphy Ave on Saturday mornings from 8am to 1pm. The address is 124. S. Murphy Ave in Sunnyvale. Yelp review linked.

I work for Brocade in San Jose (right by the airport) and had hoped to "time" a necessary business trip to coincide with the birthday party. Some issues beyond my control have prevented that from happening . . . grrr
Have fun celebrating I'll be at the ten year party, I promise! With continued smuggy growth, you'll need to rent the Moscone Center to handle the raving user fans . . .
I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

I hope those hours in the air have been pleasant!
As far as what to sell, well potentially everything could be for sale. Most likely first candidate is the 24-105, but I also may sell the 24mm TSE (currently being evaluated by another grinner). Who knows, the potential is there to trade a couple pcs of glass and come home with a new cam body!
