Re: Lens Help
I would add the 70-200 f/4L (non-IS) to the list. It renders gorgeous shots and is an "L" lens for just a little more than the lenses you listed. Used ones for under $500 here; new ones for about $625. It will complement your current lens (you should not miss the 56 - 69 mm range) and give the best image quality. -
Re: New Camera!!
Yes sir, I uploaded the photo from my phone and didnt look at it. I have to go buy some more film today for another camera. I will upload some once I get them. By the way, I didnt pay the $69 for it. That was what it sold for new. I bought only because the price was low enough to stick it on a shelf for a display. -
Re: Yosemite Photos #2
Nice take on Fern Springs @Cavalier! They are doing construction within the park too. Parking is limited. I was stationed at Castle 1986 - 1990. I stayed here, obviously. A few weeks ago I was at the museum because they had a car show, and I drove my '69 Firebird there. After the show I drove around the grounds and took… -
Tiger Unleashed
I'm surprised that I'm the first to post about it here. Yesterday Apple announced that OSX 10.4 "Tiger" will be on shelves April 29th. You can pre-order it now through Apple. Amazon has a $35 rebate on it. If you are lucky, like me, you can get the educational discount and it only costs $69. A good comparison of the OSX… -

#69 - Ordinary enough?
Any thoughts on these? I wasn't able to pull off my first idea. I thought of this a couple of days ago. Really hard to look at ice cream as cold as it is right now. :rofl Re-shoot might be possible if I can get back in the kitchen before my other son. This cone is went to the oldest and the other is getting impatient.… -
Re: Pull backs....lets have some!
A neat gentleman and his neat 69 Nova. Wish I had audio for the sound the car made. This shot was with one canon 600 speedlight. He isn't bad but the car is too dark. 1. Added anothe speedlight on the ground to light the back portion of the car. 2. Final image with both flashes firing. Still have to retouch the flash of… -

Re: Max Cable Length
No problem. It works great and is a much cheaper option! I haven't shot tethered for more than an hour straight and didn't pay much attention to the battery life. I would have to agree with others that it is much shorter when shooting tethered... especially if your saving the images to PC/Mac. You may find more info here.… -
Re: Printing books - 80 copies or so
softcover photo books Hi Nimai, If you have a Mac computer and iPhoto, you can print softcover photo books. I've used them before and the quality was similar to Blurb's. Prices start at $19.99 for the first 20 pages (10 sheets) of an 8 x 11 book and each additional page is $.69. There are other larger sizes offered. Here's…
