SOLD: Canon BCI-6 Ink Carts
A friend of mine recently purchased a new printer and I inherited a bunch of unopened Canon BCI-6 Ink Cartridges. I'm looking to get rid of them, since I use 3rd part ink right now, and am happy with it. 2 x BCI-6PM (Photo Magenta) 3 x BCI-6PC (Photo Cyan) 2 x BCI-6M (Magenta) 1 x BCI-6C (Cyan) 1 x BCI-6BK (Black) All… -
DSS 63 Open study- plese CC - late in the game!
I'd like some C&C. My goal for the Open Study challenge was to focus on something I don't normally shoot. Since I rarely take informal portraits, that's where I tried to improve. and since I haven't dabbled in high key processing, i went there, too. I didn't have time for extra shooting, so I tried to capture this during… -
Finally fall in the Cascades
I mentioned in my last post that I returned to the Beckler and North Fork Skykomish River Valleys the following day to capture the fall color that's really popping out. A lot of portrait compositions. Hmm... 1. Fall color reflections on the Beckler River 2. Fire Water 3. 4. Vine Maple 5. Yet more... 6. Rapid River 7. More… -
chal 63, ginger
ok, i know everyone will hate this, but I have to put it up to look at it. I can't enter it, because once someone enters, they are committed to enter.....it is not as easy as it used to be to just take your photo down. I like this kind of stuff, you all, well, you can hate it or not, but I was having fun and decided to… -

Re: Square sensor
Yeah, I did the math too over lunch. Apect Ratio and Percent of Circle Covered1:1 64% (square) 3:2 59% (35mm) 5:4 63% (an 8x10 image) 4:3 61% (four-thirds) So the sqare has a bit more covered than any of the other formats, with a 5/4 ratio being very close behind. Still, we almost always want a rectangular image, not a… -
Re: Olympus 18-180
While reviews of Olympus cameras and lenses are not as prevalent as some other manufacturer's cameras and lenses, there is one fairly good for the Zuiko ED 18-180mm, f/3.5-6.3: http://www.ephotozine.com/article/Olympus-Zuiko-ED-18-180mm-f35-63 As usual with an extreme range zoom, there are some compromises. While the lens… -
Re: Challenge 62 Protest
Hey, people, make up your mind! I don't see concrete as beeing porous/permeable. Maybe someone could pass the info to the damn builders:D. Tea bag on the other side, is. "Flesh to Stone to Dust" is a great photo and I'm glad it's on the challenge voting thread. Spendind time arguing about interpretation of Ch.62 theme is… -
Re: Lens Hood questions
Here is a link to some of the colors and color combinations available for the P-Touch; only the first few combos are actually fully illustrated, but all 63 are listed. The black and gold is classy and what I use the most:http://www.advizia.com/brother/modelDetail.asp?PkgID=383859&User=ptouch&Rnd=92 Then choose the "Tape… -
Re: CC Wanted for outdoor Shots
Your perspectives in 63, 82, and 115 are better. Every image has the subject dead center though. Due to the time of day, your subject is always in shadow. You could correct that with flash, but you're likley to loose your burst mode with the SB-600. Off camera with Nikons CLS is an option, but you'll get one shot when you…
