Jeffrey Friedl has been kind enough to develop the MOST requested Lightroom feature on these forums.
You can download it here.
LR Version 2 Plugin, here and instructions, here.

Yup I can afford lightroom.

http://photos.mikelanestudios.com/
I am getting an error message when I am uploading to Smugmug.
“An internal error has occurred: Win32 API error (unknown error — FormatMessageW failed) when calling HttpSendRequest from private_AgHttpClient_post_L”
Any Ideas?
Brian
..I know I know.. I will just give it a try and be happy to have an alternate route.
Thanks!
How big is the jpg you are trying to upload ?
We can across a similar issue last night.
Cheers,

regardless of how fast it is, uploading/exporting runs as a background task, so you can keep doing other stuff

They are from a Canon 40D and range in size from 8 to 11+ MB each.
Brian
are they all failing ? Or just some ?
Cor found that only one of his images was failing.
If you can narrow it down to a particular file or group of files, it may be useful.
Thanks,

It is a group of 6 photos I am trying to export to Smugmug all 6 photos look like they are processing then the error pops up. Of the 6 photos only the first one will upload to Sumgmug.
ok since the first image seems to be working, can you please try uploading the second image by itself.
If that fails, can you please upload that file to SmugMug by some other means and PM me the orignal link, so I can provide that to Jeffrey for testing purposes.
Thanks,
David

A number of flickr users are reporting the same issue, so it appears that it might be a bit deeper rooted that just the export plugin.

Brian,
Jeffrey released a new version tonight, not sure if it will work or not, but he thinks it might close a potential issue.
Can you please give it a go.
Thanks,
David

unfortunately getting that same error. originally I was trying to upload some large panos, also tried just a normal jpeg and still got it.
response from smugmug is a-ok.
<?xml version='1.0' encoding="utf-8" ?>

David,
I just tried the newer version and still the same error. On Jeffrey's blog I left him the same message I posted here he said to try resizing the images to 600 x 600 pixels. With the new version still the same problem, even with 600 x 600 images.
My email (login ID) for smugmug contains a '.' before the '@domain.com'.
for example, ab.cd@ef.gh (my email is not a .com).
As soon as I type on the first '.', the login box greyed out.
Can this be easily fixed?
Thanks!

The great thing about the LR modules is that they're Lua script. So even if Jeffery Friedl gets too busy to update the SM uploader, someone else can take his work and extend it with new features. Time to start learning a new language.
