It's Nancy Wilkins from Dallas! I'll be there May 17 and at this point have no idea what the room arrangements are. I'm going by myself, flying in from Dallas on May 16 to Vegas and driving up with Dragon 300Z and a vanload. Don't know how the rooms will be doled out, but you're welcome to stay with me the night of May 17!
In my earlier days, I would have attempted it. I drove from Chicago to Long Beach in 42 hours once. Then a couple years later did the same to Anaheim. A few years back, I found that it takes exactly 40 hours to get to Tucson from Chicago. Solo I do stupid things like that.
But Diana won't stand for that behavior. She hates driving - I hate flying; so we compromised. She flys into Denver, I pick her up, then we will spend a few days in Co. and Utah before the 16th. She flys back from denver while I put more (unlimited) mileage on the little rental car for the trip back here.
I'm probably about to change employers, and they don't know that I'll be gone from the 11th to the 23rd yet. I should probably mention it, no?

Gus, I introduced my son to that bit. We read it first, and cracked up. Then we listened to it, and decided that it's much funnier in print. Maybe we're just too slow to keep up with A&C (they motored through that bit), but it still works. We were laughing our keisters off.
