Oh. I first saw U2 live in support of their second album. I guess I am old. But not too old to also be planning to see them in September. Front row baby! (I wonder if I can take my camera?)
Ohh. That gives me an idea for "No Line On The Horizon."

I wish I could have seen their early performances! Envy... I saw the PopMart, How to Dismantle an Atomic Bomb, and All That You Can't Leave Behind tours, the last of which literally brought tears to my eyes because they played my top two fave songs in encore. I can die happy.
In fact, Kerry, I saw my first concert before you were born.
1976 - Frampton Comes Alive Tour
and I was the 14 yo girl at the very top of the balcony,
in the very back,
looking through binoculars
and burst out crying when I saw him.
Seriously, how sad was that?
(even worse, I might still do it if I saw him now.)

Please fellow dgrinners....I don't want to see someone's photog rendition of "Sunday Bloody Sunday"
My first-ever concert was...the Beach Boys (blame my parents!). :giggle
That would be cool... I think.
I was lucky. My brother is 11 years older, my sister, 6 older. My brother and his friends used to buy blocks of tickets so if they had an extra, I got to go. ELO, Doobie brothers, etc.. Mt sis took me on purpose , lol. Jethro Tull, one of the Texas Jam's (a day of music at the Cotton Bowl).
My favorite, 2nd row for a Heart concert with my ex. That was fun!
ok, off to watch an old movie on dvd with the kids, Red Dawn.
ok,, I step away for a few hours and the game is over.. (pout):cry
Cool Karin,,, you got her... and what on earth have you guys been doing to poor Kerry, she is having an identity crisis.. new avatar and everything..:D

Actually, I kind'a loathe eighties music. Except for the music my fave artist was producing during that decade.
Ninth album is the first I bought. They're still makin' 'em! And I'm still buyin' 'em. They've produced more than 15 albums (including lives).
how old are you anyway?????

U2?? Bon Jovi??

If it is U2, that would make Kerry a very young pup! Brownie points...we win even if U2 isn't her favorite!

This September will mark the fourth time I've seen them perform live.
And Achtung Baby was the first CD I ever bought. :giggle
People keep thinking I'm older here. Perhaps it's time I change my avatar.
No, It's just that I hate to admit how much older I am...

I think I'm young....you're younger than me - now I feel old. Funny, looking at the U2 discography I realize that I have 11 U2 albums.
