Several diagonal lines (although not parallel to one another...)
I have always wondered if you feel the sound of these horns in your chest when they blow them? Know what I mean?
Lol Sara....having forgetful day again?! Need a Next for the challenge! I have forgotten too several times.

Yes,having it's been a long day for me and I was so excited about something diagonal, I forgot. But thanks for reminding me - there's now a "next".
We happened to be staying in a small alpine down on the day of the annual Alphorn festival. How could we resist???!!! While we didn't quite feel it in our chests, it is certainly a lovely mellow sound.

I have heard them on tv but never in person. Maybe during my trip to Scandinavia countries and such coming up this June I will get the chance!
How was this created? I saw your other post so I assume it is a reflection - I just can't seem to figure out how.
--- Denise
Thank you. It was like this - It was a reflection somehow. I forgot, because I took it in 2011 - I added some effects like the grain and more attractive color, but other than that..., no
I have a lot of photos that I haven't edited and just found this one on one of the (multiple) hard drives and I thought it was interesting
Beautiful shot, Eric - I love how this is suspended in mid-air.
Ah, cheers and thanks, Sara. Like you, I've been busy with work stuff, so haven't checked in for a while. I wanted to give that impression so I placed it on top of a mirrored lazy susan outdoors on an overcast day.
Hi Tatiana, IMHO this request is just fine. You could probably leave off the "wooden" because that makes it really specific and not all shingles are made of wood.
One of the things that I find interesting about this challenge is that sometimes I have a pretty specific idea of what I think I want to see when I post a shape or pattern suggestion, but then somebody posts a picture that, although it completely works for my suggestion, is not at all what I had in mind!

Thank you Sara.
However the previous discussion was based partially on this: the subject being too broad instead of narrow and the preference (at least of you and Eric) was for limited subjects…
PS: I also added "wodden" because I always check the internet for the subject I request, just to make sure I don't do a mistake and for "Shingles" I get this, which is NOT what I want
You know Tatiana, I think that's why that skin condition is called shingles - because they look like shingles on a house! Although I realize that's not what you were looking for. But really, I'm sure everyone understands what shape you want to see. Not a problem.
BTW, before you said something a couple of weeks ago I didn't realize you weren't a native English speaker. Hats off for your ability to conduct written communications in a foreign language. Believe me, I experience the difficulties of this every single day!!! (... German grammar rules.... ugh!!!!)

Oh, I know that German is a very difficult language
- I learned it in the childhood (in private, because my mother thought it was a very important language to know... - I forgot almost everything now because of lack of practice. ).
A lot of words are similar to the ones in English, but the grammar and all the composite words.... hmm
However, when coming from a latin language, English is doable, because I think that more than 70% of the words have latin origin - this is how I managed (still do) to speak it as a current language
What you learn in school... is a little different than what you are facing in the real (American) English...
... But your compliment (thank you very much) is way too generous
I still need my husband to edit my text/content for my 4 websites (2 more others than the travel sites) - oh! That's why I don't advance too much with them...
I wondered if you were going to ramble on over here to the challenge board Diana! Again, glad you found us! Enjoy the games we have and challenge yourself in the mini challenge.

Hi Joyce! Yes, eventually I make my way around. It's a really busy time of year for me at the High School, so I do what I can. I'll probably be more active once school lets out.

Hi,
I'd like to ask for a pattern that looks like in my photo below:
Is it a correct request, or is considered object? How would I say it please?
Thanks

Thank you
In Las Vegas - there is a small but beautiful Chihuly store at Bellagio, and luckily, I was allowed to take photos. Here are some more: http://www.travelwaysphotos.com/Las-Vegas-pictures/Chihuly-glass-artwork-Vegas/
