Your site looks good, but you need to add more images to the home screen. On my 27" screen I am only getting two rows of pictures leaving the bottom half of the screen blank.

I went with the Turbo Theme.

You might want to change the width of some of your pages to Stretchy (on the "layout" tab), the photos are very small in one corner of the screen currently:

Excellent site, Naufal, and some beautiful images. And after all is said and done it's the images that make a good site.

There's only one T in 'contact' on your menu bar.

    My newly unveiled site
I finally bit the bullet and decided to go for a complete re-design.

Still some tweaks to do (ABOUT is work in progress) and a few SM bugs still to resolve (i.e. not all keywords show up in the keyword block).

    Any constructive criticism welcomed.

Great images, Doug! Love the Homepage!

411 links don't appear to be working. Background images are a little distracting, especially when the bird's head is cut off and I keep looking for it! :):

Sorry, but I kept getting a "404 not found" error on your web link.

I'm also looking for some constructive criticism about my new web layout if anyone would care to take a look. http://www.aaronjphotography.com. I think things look decent, but an outside opinion always helps.

I thought this page was neat... (Nothing spectacular, but the animation looks neat... hope it works on other browsers.)

If you would not mind trying them again... I made the unlisted after doing the coding. SM adds some security coding to the end of the URL when you make them unlisted or private.

Great images and nice choice of theme. I particularly like http://www.thebirdphotographer.com/Birds/Digital-Art-1/i-VnBWDQJ/A
What processing filters did you use for this one?

    Two points...
    1. Using an image as a background distracts from the main page content i.e. the bird images.
    2. I'm not an ornithologist but I'd like to know what I'm looking at (at least the common name).

Feel free to review my redesigned site at http://www.lostonmarsphotography.com
Especially the wildlife gallery (sorry no birds, they are too difficult for me cos they never stay still!!!)

Excellent choice of theme, more than just "decent" IMHO. Superb images.
I particularly like the autos section.

I like it. Very clean. Does your "New Additions" automatically update when you add new photos? If so, how do you set that up?

That looks like the Fractalius filter to me:

Very tidy! It's a shame that SmugMug don't yet allow us to change the size of the thumbs inside Collage Landscape galleries. A couple of those galleries could really take advantage of thumbs which were twice the size in order to fill the screen.

Love your Site Nicholas, I was looking through your customizations and was wonder if you knew how to add drop shadows the the rounded corners images. I'm also trying to duplicate a look similar to Ben CHampions Gallery page (http://www.benchampion.net/Portfolio) any ideas on that one? You can email me direct if you like at bjarvis@digi-scapes.com. As you can tell from my site right now it's a total work in progress mess and I need to get to work on it :) One other note, I really need any and all customizations to work cross platform (Mac/Windows/Firefox/Chrome/Safari/IE)

It's manual for now and simply acts as a quick "hook-in" to the gallery content. I wouldn't want to replace it with say "the most recent N uploaded images" if such a mechanism exists or is easy to customize. It may require some more involved conditional code. I may look into that eventually. Thanks for making the observation.

Possibly, which rounded elements did you want a shadow on exactly?

I'm pretty sure he's here on DGrin somewhere, as I've seen that site before, you might be able to ask him.

If you're just talking about that vertical strip of galleries, that looks like a Galleries block whose layout has been set to Vertical, and the image crop set to 3x1.

Great looking sites! It's going to take me awhile to figure out the customizations that you all have. Mine is very simple, I love how much cleaner and brighter it looks to my old site. I'm still trying to figure out how to make an "About Me" sort of link on my menu, and perhaps make my thumbnails larger within the galleries, but for now:

Yes, I agree with the PhotoDavid's comment. Very clean and clear. You have a couple of outdoor plant shots in the kitchen gallery - are they in the wrong place?

Wow,y'all got some killer sites. bowdown.gif

Im no where near the caliber of most folk here, but thought I would share my little dark corner on Smugmug.

Im not a pro, and only do this for a hobby, but was trying to make my new site look like my old site. Unfortunately last night I changed something, and the galleries dont open on a new page, but will work on it again. Being computer stupid, the new customization features are great, so I wonder how I can even mess that up. headscratch.gifscratch
Im hoping over the weekend to try something totally new and out there. Will share when it is done.

    Ok...for your laughing pleasure. rolleyes1.gif

I did crop photos to match in size - thrown them in an unlisted folder, so they only serve a single purpose.

The slideshow was 10s per slide, but I dropped it down to 7 now... I thought it was long too - but was curious as to what another set of eyes would see.

    thanks for the input.
