just to add... I'm broken too... did all the same as caroline... worked a few days ago...
it sure would be nice if SM made bulkzoom an actual feature so you did not have to keep modifying a hack...:(

It's busted for anyone, Anthony. Dev has said he'd look into it.

He said he would look into it, Anthony.

It is a hack - developed by Dev when he was a customer of SmugMug's.

It's also still the weekend. I promise you, he knows about it and will look into it. And if it is fixable, he'll fix it.

    Please have patience. Thank you.

And that is why I stay with Smuggy and tell everyone I know about it.

    Thanks for the quick fix!
    I really appreciate it.

    Thank you, mister bobo man!

ETA: Now that I've gone and actually re-plugged the code in the JS section, the checkbox for the tool in the galleries has disappeared entirely... Anyone else?

Mine is working great - thanks dev.

Answer to the question though about why this isnt a built in SM feature vs code being run on my page everytime, is not clear.

That is really odd. It wasn't working for me any time I changed the code at work (PC?), but now that I'm home (Mac?) the checkbox is there and it's working great. headscratch.gif

    No matter.... Thanks again devbobo!

I don't know if this is the right place to report but i'm having trouble with bulk zoom (errors almost as if I don't have originals enabled, but I do)

zooming thumbs on individual images works fine. I'm working thru them one by one in this gallery:

    http://www.lynnehulbert.com/gallery/3392232

    any suggestions appreciated!

    Followed instructions but no dice
    Hi all,

If anyone is willing to have a look at my page and point me in the right direction on where I screwed up, it would be much appreciated.

I followed the hack for bulk zoom of square thumbnails, but I am not seeing any changes.

    Here is my site:

    http://melissahoward.smugmug.com

    TIA!

I'm having the same issue, I copy/paste from the wiki and nothing has changed on the site (no buttons to reflect the hack)

I double checked the copy/paste so I'm not sure if it's something else I've got in there that's conflicting with the hack, it's past my limited ability now.

The gallery that I'm trying to resize is:
    http://monkeydane.smugmug.com/gallery/3533855#200103638

    Thank you

I think I figured it out, at least in my case the gallery I was trying to change had a template set in it. Once I switched that back to default, BAM! Eveything is good.

Great hack, Thank you for making it available to one and all.

I added this code to my site to test it out and received the following error when I select bulk zoom thumbnail check box.

Error: bulk zoom thumbnail requires access to originals, "56854097" "L" 800" 550"

Any idea what could cause this?

Orignals have to be on for the bulk zoom to work.

Added the code and got nada.

My JS paste was kind of funky (lost formatting), could that be the problem?

    Hi guys...

I'm having a problem with the BZT hack. It's my only customization (for now since I'm redsigning) and it used to work OK.

I've cut and paste the code about a dozen times now, but it doesn't seem to work. No Bulk checkbox showing up. This is frustrating as it did work in the past and I really don't feel like doing each shot on an individual basis.

If one of you Jedi Masters can take a look at my site and the code, it would be greaty appreciated!

    Thanks for the help!

I don't see any javascript or any other BZT code.headscratch.gif In fact your user js is
    empty. You remove it all?

Do you have the bulkzoom html code (not the CSS or the javascript code) in the header or the footer? Should be in the header section of your customization.

The Javascript was at the bottom of the JS section, so I moved it to the top (if that helps), and the CSS and headers are in the right spots, at least I think they are.

I stripped out my customizations last week to test out just the BZT and I still had the same problem...

    Thanks for the help guys...

Do you have a gallery where apearance is set to "custom" and not
"Smugmug"? None of the gallereis I looked at had any CSS enabled.
