This hack is for the moment, not working. More later as we know it.

    Sorry for the trouble, folks.

As in the current version of the code that is on the Wiki or the versions that we already have in our customization sections will not work any more? Just want to know if we should just leave those galleries alone as a change might break what we already have working.

    Trouble w/ Bulk Zoom Thumbnail
I am having some unusual trouble with the bulk zoom thumbnail. When going to use this several boxes pop up (about 5 or 6) saying "Error:Bulk zoom thumbnails require access to the originals". I went to the gallery setting to make sure the orginals were accessable and they are. I've never had this happen before and the bulk zoom thumbnails always worked fine.

    Any ideas?

That's what happens when orignals are not enabled, a popup box for every
photo. But, did you see Andy's post just above yours? BZT is not working until
Dev has a chance to get in and fix it.

I just installed this for the first time, and it gave me this message. headscratch.gif Thanks for confirming that it wasn't just me.

Cool! thumb.gif I'll get right on the testing-- just as soon as I get S*E updated too!

EDIT: hmmm... I replaced everything in my code with 2.7, and it doesn't work at all. I get the bulk zoom dialog box and the icon in the upper left, but no pics to be resized/zoomed. But wait... when I changed it to "all thumbs" (I was in smugmug) view, it appears to work.

WORKED GREAT FOR ME!!! I'm even a few glasses of wine in the hole. At first I forgot to unprotect the originals, but the second time it worked just fine!!

    Thanks!! This is awesome.

grab the code again, I fixed a minor bug that Andy found.

I must be missing something. I am still getting the error message about needing originals.
    PLEASE HELP!

Here is the gallery in question

Also, it did not work when I had 2.6 code so I switched to the 2.7 and still am getting the same results.

    Thanks,
    Ryan

Where is the code for version 2.7? In the wiki it looks like it says version 6?

    works for "old" galleries

but not one created since the recent update

originals are on for now... in both...

Yeah, the gallery I am trying to use the BZT tool on was created yesterday. What's the story with the new extention at the end of each picture address?

I have seen this mentioned yet, but I think found a weird bug.

When I use the BZT in a gallery that has a sub-category assigned to it, the sub-cat is cleared after I complete the BZT. At first I thought I cleared it by accident, but then it kept happening.

Has this happened to anyone else?

EDIT: I've been playing with it all day, and now it stopped doing that. I might be crazy, ignore this post I guess...

37 seconds each to do it manually is like waterboarding!

I am building a devbobo shrine in the hope that bulk zoom is working soon in new galleries...

BZT hack will not do all photos.
I have noticed that the BZT tool does not include all photos. I had 162 photos in my gallery and it only chose 15. Is this something that you are working on as well Dev?

    I am using 2.7.
