Sharper cutoff (pencil thin)
Throws more light to the sides of the road
"city light" you can see at the top of the low beams
Smoked reflectors (doesn't decrease light output)
I have regular old 55w H1's in there now but I'll be upgrading to Osram Silverstars 65w when I can find some. If thats not enough I'll go 6k HID.

Osram Silverstars if you can find them? Consider them found. Though...I believe the new Narva Rangepowers are brighter. Talk to Daniel Stern at www.danielsternlighting.com
Don't forget, seeing as lots of us have piles of leaves now, be carefull where you park your cars. This rather attractive young woman (perfect age for antrieb's brother too (took some reading but found the pics)) didn't pay attention to where she parked her car in an emergency situation and well, lost the really nice car, and everything in it.

Does not look to be enough fuel about on the ground around the car to ignite...i think she left the handbrake was left on whilst driving to burn the rear like that.

Nope, if you read everything the whole situation is explained. She kept having problems with one of her coolant lines blowing off, and while she was driving the line blew for the 4th time (thats all the fluid on the ground). So she immediatley pulled over to park it, and parked it on a pile of leaves. Whell, hot exhaust + dry leaves = pretty fire.... By the time she realized this and tried to move the car off the leaves it was already to late and the car had ignited itself. She had a full tank of gas at the time too so that helped keep the fire going for along time, and also helped cause wet fuel burns slower than gas vapors so it didn't have any fun gas tank explosion.
Honestly i would have doubted an exhaust ('specially at the rear of the car) is really that hot. Like i said i dont know but i have seen hand brakes burn cars before.

Ever put your hands on one? This was a 14+ year old car that went up in flames to so you have to imagine that the heat shields on the car were prolly gone. I've been told of this happening by my dad before so I never parked my cars on piles of leaves but it does seem to be a real problem. Lots of information about this on the internet and even the EPA acknowledges it. If you look at the pictures closely it looks as if the fire started right about where the cat converter should be and the wind took it to the back of the car first.

Like i said it may be so..hell we dont get leaves here like that. I still recon it was more than likely the handbrake thats all.

Ahh but see that would have produce extremely different symptoms, and would have been noticable while driving that it was stuck on. And although this wasn't the brightest car chick, she is a car chick and from the sounds of it would know that the handbrake was stuck on.
I can see in some circumstance's but I also think of it as if it where me driving. I'm anal as hell about how my car feels when im driving it, I notice things way before anyone else does so if there is even a slight drag on a wheel I normally can tell. That and I've made it into a habit to check my own cars for abnormally warm wheels whenever I have used the parking brake after driving.
After doing alittle more research there are three theories in play, A) the hot exhaust on the leave pile short in the fuel system/fuel line rupture c) Really bad dumb luck.

I remember some mates & i (we were about 15) were trying to light a cigarette of a manifold on hot/running engine once...it was bruning our faces off but no way in hell could we get it to light. You cant even ignite petrol (gas) with a ciggy so here we have what ? 1000f-1200f & an extreamly volatile fuel.
Leaves dont make that good of fuel in this sort of situation...here in summer maybe..everything is dried out beyond belief & i doubt the leaves there were paper dry. I think it would be hard to ignite thats all. Exhausts do not run red hot that far back...assuming the car/driver is capable of getting it to red hot at the manafold even.
Im not saying it didnt happen because i wasnt there but i firmly think there was something else involved. Like a stocktake perhaps ?
I do know one thing, we don't know crap about DRY compared to gus. Going on what, 2" of rain in the past 365 days or so?
Not quite...its been over 400+ days since we have seen a single fall (ie all at once) of 2" (50mm). It has rained this week but still well under 2". There are a lot of places worse off then us though with the current drought. Severe water restrictions are a part of life here now.
Who can tell me what is wrong with this add. Looks kinda dodgy to me, read the add, then look at the pictures, and tell me what the biggest problem is that you can see.

Nope, Both of you are wrong (well the guy can't tell his left from his right thats for damn sure) but thats not what I am talking about. Look at all of the pictures, one of the pictures clearly shows a huge huge huge bigger than big problem with this Nissan 300ZX TT. A picture that clearly conflicts with the discription of this NISSAN.

The general definition of a teaser pic is to get everyone interested. I guess it worked

this is a photography forum though, not e46thupernatics (where teasers make up 100% of the content)

Now, get that front spoiler painted.
