cricket is still an insect to me, guess I better start workin' on that.
We have one of the better Indian amateur bowlers at work. He sits next to
me and I have had the opportunity to learn a bit. I'm gonna give it a twirl
one of these days.

Wheels and drop are a p-shop. It actually looks like this
ah well, now i understand... it is a cool pshop... but heck, if you're gonna go through the trouble to do the wheels so well couldn't you remove the nozzle and hose!!!!

it looks sweet in the final modded form, do it!
Thanks, probably going to wait for spring for the wheels and drop tho...
Gonna sell what I don't need (wood, rear door sills, rear door panels, A and C pillar covers, sunvisors, some other things here and there) and keep what I do (front seats, back seats, though I'll re-cover my existing rear seat backrest since the on from this set has headrests and I don't want the rear headrests, maybe the front door panels, some of the carpeting, front door sill covers, B-pillar covers, and dashboard for much later on since the dashboard is about a full weekend of working straight).
This was A LOT cheaper than buying new stuff as I had planned.

make sure you post some photos for us when you get back!
Roger that. Since I'm using a carry on (no direct Charlotte to Daytona Beach flight, and the time between my two flights is shorrt) my camera bag has to be a personal item size bag. It's amazing how much I can fit into my Hadley pro (20D - no grip though - 70-200 2.8 w/hood, 17-40 4 w/hood, 50 1.4, 1.4x tc, 2x tc, 77mm circ polarizer, air blower, 2 extra memory cards (6gb total), 3 extra batters, lens cleaning fluid, lens cloth, battery charger) and I could still fit another standard/wide prime in there.
Almost 24 hours and no postings in this area of the site. I couldn't live with that. Oh and lets make it car related right...
So I'm renting a trailblazer this weekend. Does anyone know if the current model year or the last model year had aux ipod hook-ups on the factory stereo?
I'm in the process of uploading a handful of shots I printed when I first got home (nice thing about 4x6's is all you need to do in terms of processing is cropping as needed and then what I call BigPixelUnsharp and contrast adjustnment). Not necessarily my best shots, just a handful
You know it's done uploading when there are 43 images.
At first they were fine about being at the fence, then they started telling people to stay about 1 or 2 feet back from the fence. Then during the night the cars took out about 100 feet of fencing and the next day, when I was starting to get the hang of things, they started saying no stopping anywhere except the bleachers, if you are at the fence you have to be walking. Still though, that didn't dampen my enjoyment, just my pictures (may have made it even better since I was doing more watching and less photographing).
I gotta say, that #10 car (Suntrust Pontiac, I don't think there are any photos of it in that set) had a great team. They had to replace the coils, then they had to replace the ECU, by hour 4 the clutch broke so every time they came in to pit they had to push start it, and they still came in third.
BTW, has anybody else heard that the Trans-Am series will be brought back once Chevy comes out with the new Camaro and Dodge comes out with the new Challenger? I read that somewhere in an article about the Mustang FR500GT (which I think is what was at the Rolex 24 even though I thought it wasn't out yet).
Here's one for Zac: anybody know anything about the BMW E23 745i turbo? I saw one on the highway the other day, mean as heck (and if anybody on any BMW forums has seen someone in NC with a 745i let me know so I can register the forum and PM him...he got off at the same exit as my school).

You're kidding, right?
If not it's the Rolex 24 Hours of Daytona.
to be honest, it took me a minute. i don't get Speed channel, and my race following has really slumped away. even F1 doesn't really excite me so much.
moderator of: The Flea Market [ guidelines ]
I don't get Speed Channel either, which is why I'll be there in person

fyi, the new series of top gear started last night. Richard Hammond was back and talked through his crash. Scary stuff
