Love the picture, any reason for the name Quattro?
Sure... she has all-paw drive
We got her not too long after my wife and I met. I owned an Audi and my wife-to-be was the warranty clerk at the local Audi dealer. Quattro seemed to be a better name for a cat than A4, A6, TT, etc...

Haha, suchh a great name! And a nice story to match it...
I took more pics, but will wait a day to post em.
edit, more pictures. I like the first one the most. He was laying with me during the Yankee game hehe.
Father took this one, he has an insanely steady hand I guess......

This is our cat, Claus. He is also a rescue... and I love him so much! He has gotten fat, I assume it is because he knows nothing really as his mother had little to no impact on him. He is purely an inside cat (declawed) and is not very active I am afraid.
Hope you enjoy... :P These are from my very first batch with my new XTi... I used the Canon 50mm f/1.8 at ISO 800 or 1600 (I forget)
Hey J - I am lucky enough to be the owner of Calvin, possible brother to Claus. My son found him in a used car lot! Very hungry young guy at the time. He rode home with us and has been a delight to live with.
When we first got Claus he was very mean to us, loved to claw my brother on the head (would sneak up when he was on the couch and scratch his head). After awhile though he settled down and no loves to follow me around the house meowing a lot (he is always hungry).
This is my friends cat Katie. She has no center of balance so she looks like she is drunk when she tries to walk. She can't get around very well but is a very sweet cat. I liked how the sunlight was bathing her in this shot.
This is my cat Maxwell. This was taken when he was about 6 months old, he is a little over a year now. I need to take a few updated pics of him. This was a picture I made into a wallpaper.
Ok, I'll play. Here's one of ours (we have two and a dog). I'm not usually one to take pics of my "kids" but I needed a subject matter to test a new lens and he was right there.

This is Mowgli......
Is one eye blue and one eye green? It's kind of hard to tell since one eye is in shadow. Pretty kitty

Thanks. Yep, one is blue and the other green. He is deaf, and deaf cats tend to be white with different coloured eyes. Some gene defect thing that is too scientific for me to understand .

This thread has already slipped back to p4 - need to bump it up again
Gina sorry to hear about your kitty :cry
Anyway, here's another of Missy where I was experimenting with the Sigma 24-135mm at F2.8. I've read many reports that F2.8 is unusable on this lens, but I'm not too unhappy with this considering the depth of field:
My little hellion Noel (got her at christmas about 7 years ago). We sometimes caller her Nosifer because she is like a bitter old woman. But she acts like a dog and has a lot of character.
Ahh, a special thread for us kittie-lovers! I like that!
Great images here!
Here is our little hero. Once, we had a pair of mice as pets. One day, one of the escaped and we couldn't get it out from under the kitchen cupboard. Over three days, we tried everything we could think of.
In our despair we though, we should give the pro a chance. It was crazy! We opened the kitchen door, kitty rushed in, dove under the cupboard and came back one second later with the mouse in his mouth.
And then he placed it carefully into my outstretched hand! (The mouse was unharmed...)
BTW, this was one of the first tries with my new EF-S 60 macro lens.

I haven't been taking enough cat pictures lately. I did get this one of Quattro a while back:

ahaha. Btw, he has some insane eyes!
I don't know why my daughter called it two.
We say "dois" in Portuguese.
May be because she was alone at the time and he was his companion...
