Foster Kittens
Just saw some cutie-patootie puppies in the Dog a Day thread...here are some schmoopy-mapoopy kittens
These are some foster kittens I'm raising until they are old enough to find their Forever Home. (shameless plug...if you are looking to adopt and want to make a trip to Tucson...)
Meet Latte, Mocha, and Chai (named at a 5am bottle feeding...)
-- just over 4 weeks old --
-- 6.5 week old Miss Latte -- (a Snowshoe Siamese)
My friends just got their first kitten, they already have an older cat. I don't know how you can deal with three of them, their one is enough. He likes to run around and chase nothing at night, or chew on your hair. Here's a different friends cat, Sake. He is a rescue that had a broken leg and was going to be put down.
Hey,
I'm fairly new to this. I saw this thread and I thought I would show you my babies. It's my first picture post. If I did it, anyone can. Mandy is looking away and Fafa(Chinese = flower) is checking you out.
Great cats everyone ! I dont know why i like them so much. My daughter & i fight over ours as to whom gets him to watch telly with...he does not appear to mind the fuss.
I agree, great shots!
Love the shots everyone! I'm so glad this thread has survived and is still active. If I'm feeling down, I come here and look at the schmoopies here and the pooch thread.
and Stella... both were named after ladies of the night characters so they wouldn't get too carried away with their own self-importance. You know those snooty Siamese.
Time to reawaken the Cat a Day thread!
This is Lily, a kitty we rescued from our backyard during a heavy thunderstorm. We heard kitten screaming/wailing and when my wife went to check it out, Lily ran UP my wife and snuggled in her arms. I knew right then my opinion meant nothing, and we now had a new familiy member. She was wet, muddy, and COVERED in fleas. That was about two weeks ago, and here she is today after a hefty vet bill and lots of TLC.
Of course, she can laugh about the whole situation now...
And here she is earning her keep as my new guinea-cat, testing new studio lighting.
I hope you guys enjoyed the story and photos. Lets see the kitties!

I heard they are really great; the gentle giants. Any hair problems with them?

Hi Jay
they are long haired cats, so they do require the occasional brushing... but they have wonderful personalities!
