    Another Aussie
    So - having snuck out into Andy's de-lurking thread, I have decided that a lot can happen in three days!

    I'm not even a dodgy ring-in anymore - after helping my mum set up her pro account, I have decided that smugmug is definitely the place to be, so I'm in for the duration!!

    I won't post a photo of me on this thread - the most decent one I have is about 10 years old .... lol.

    There is however, one on my bio mwink.gif

    I am a -- how do you say -- camslut? Laughing.gif...I take lots of self portraits - i think reason being -- 1. I stay still (unlike my two yr old son) ... 2. I am a willing subject (also unlike my two yr old son) and 3. I am open to new ideas :D I will spare you the artsy ones -- heres a nice "myspace here - I - am" photo!

    I'm new to the site but very interested. At this point in time I am still very much working with a intro level camera the Canon A630. It currently suites both my needs and my budget. I make no contentions that I am a photographer but I am avidly interested in working on my skills. You all have such beautiful skill and talent that I can't help but be inspired to do and be better. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you and looking forward to all the constructive criticism. Now for the mug part.

    Great forum here, I've only lurked but for a few moments. It's interesting to note that I found this site via Stumble Upon and finding the thread with Shay Stephens proposal in the rain. Quite honestly it brought tears to my eyes.

    I hope I can contribute and grow as a photographer whilst being immersed in sucha great environment.

    Newish here, joined a year ago, but somehow lost the site, coming back via recommendation from a close photog friend. Love photography, have for many years, but am only an armature with no desire to be a pro, love my hobby....
