    Have just joined after opening a smugmug account, and hope in a seperate thread others may help me once i get my site up and running.....

    I have always since a small child had an avid interest in photography/videography, and although still learning (as always) enjoy it passionately.

    When I first started finding photography websites back in 2005, I guess I joined this one & forgot about it??? Or maybe my computer & server were too slow.... who knows?

    Okay, I'm finally putting myself out there. This is my first post since getting my Smugsite in September, although I've been lurking in the corners and reading many of the posts.

    You can read more about me on my website, but I live in Idaho and am happily married (almost 19 years now) with two wonderful teenage daughters. This is our 11th. year of homeschooling. God has richly blessed my life (no, that doesn't mean it's been easy!) and I trust He will bless my new business as well.

    I'm extrememly new to HTML and CSS and all of that. Maybe some of you could check out my site and give me your opinion on how I'm doing with my customization, as well as my work. If you do, thanks for taking the time!

    I am usually on the other side of the equipment. My husband caught this shot over the holidays.

    Always loved and enjoyed photography, but never had the equipment to match my dreams. Got a New Nikon d40 and ready to learn from all of you

    Hi DGrinners.
    I just entered this forum tonight in order to get my photo into the contest and I realised it was very short notice.
    Actually, I think I have posted it 3 minutes before closing. Phew. I just realised after I uploaded that it was EST and not PST.

    OK, I'll bite. This was taken last March, freezing cold day, while photographing park rangers securing protection fencing for piping plovers, a federally listed threatened species. One of the rangers took my camera and turned it on me. :photo

    Here I am, out standing in the field (in this case, beach);

    Hi all, I'm new. I've been in Stillwater, OK for 5 months. Nice to join here. I'm not good at taking photo but I love that much.

    Does anyone here know if there's a group in Stillwater who arrange to meet and go somewhere to shot regularly (once a week or month ...), I'd like to join those kinds of group to meet and improve my pictures. Going around campus alone is very boring. If anyone knows please email me: cuongvtptit@yahoo.com
