Sorry it took so long...Hi there, I am Michele Pipkin of Casual Elegance Photography in Clarksville, TN. I am new to Digital Grin, but love everyone's posts to date. Have a great 2008!
this is me....
When I first started finding photography websites back in 2005, I guess I joined this one & forgot about it??? Or maybe my computer & server were too slow.... who knows?
But, I'm back & ready to try it again

Okay, I'm finally putting myself out there. This is my first post since getting my Smugsite in September, although I've been lurking in the corners and reading many of the posts.
You can read more about me on my website, but I live in Idaho and am happily married (almost 19 years now) with two wonderful teenage daughters. This is our 11th. year of homeschooling. God has richly blessed my life (no, that doesn't mean it's been easy!) and I trust He will bless my new business as well.
I'm extrememly new to HTML and CSS and all of that. Maybe some of you could check out my site and give me your opinion on how I'm doing with my customization, as well as my work. If you do, thanks for taking the time!
hi...
Hello, my name's Sydney & I'm really new here. I'm not really sure how this all works, so any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
By the way, this is my...uh...mug. I think.

Great Forum
I found Dgrin quite by accident and very glad that I did. I like what I see. Obviously, many talented photographers on this forum. Here I am with a couple of friends.
New from Smiths Creek, New Brunswick, Canada
Hi. I am a relatively new photographer and a very new member of DGrin and SmugMug. I make my living as a freelance writer and photographer, primarily for equine publications but now branching out into other genres.
I'll figure out the picture thing (as in reading the instructions) later but just wanted to say "hi"
Hello!
Hi DGrinners.
I just entered this forum tonight in order to get my photo into the contest and I realised it was very short notice.
Actually, I think I have posted it 3 minutes before closing. Phew. I just realised after I uploaded that it was EST and not PST.
I only started to get more into photography very recently so I wanted to take a chance.
Here is a self portrait I took a week ago:
OK, I'll bite. This was taken last March, freezing cold day, while photographing park rangers securing protection fencing for piping plovers, a federally listed threatened species. One of the rangers took my camera and turned it on me. :photo

Hello Grinners.
So you think you wanna see me ugly mug? Well here I am! I am new to DGrin and very glad to have found this great online community. I look forward to many pleasant posts.
Hi all, I'm new. I've been in Stillwater, OK for 5 months. Nice to join here. I'm not good at taking photo but I love that much.
Does anyone here know if there's a group in Stillwater who arrange to meet and go somewhere to shot regularly (once a week or month ...), I'd like to join those kinds of group to meet and improve my pictures. Going around campus alone is very boring. If anyone knows please email me: cuongvtptit@yahoo.com

I have always since a small child had an avid interest in photography/videography, and although still learning (as always) enjoy it passionately.

I was waiting until I could get the right picture... sometimes simple is good.
Not a bad self portrait... taken somewhere over Colarado
Knowing me I will probably swap it up at some point, but this one is me for the next few weeks.
