    Hi

Heard back from my friend. He has booked 2 different cabins for us.

WooHoo! Ann, everything sounds great! I also don't know what internet options are going to be along the trip, but I'm brining my laptop and you guys are free to use it. It's brand spanking new (bought it in December). FAST, has CS2, wireless available or you can burn DVDs or CDs. Since we'll be overflowing our cards. :):

Canmore accomodation confirmed: Condo that sleeps 11! Full kitchen, walking distance to downtown Canmore.

Next will be to work out the cost of each. I guess that will depend on actual final numbers....

I finalized and paid for my flights to and from Canada yesterday. So, I'm booked and ready to go! I also got insurance for my gear on Wednesday, so I'm all set! (I just need to wait a few months and then buy some more photo gear.):D

I got my imediate supervisors approval but now have to wait for a different manager to approve it. So it's looking good!

I think Ann would rather give you a go at driving than let Gary drive again :hide.

HaHaHa!!!! Well, skippy, no need for you to worry about driving. gluwater is in, and he drove our vanload from Zion to Vegas last year. That was cuz Andy let dragon (gary) race... I mean drive the rental mustang back!!!!! Nick is a fine driver, so he can spell me off. Bad news is that the windows in the middle of my van do not roll down - they do in Toyota's so Nancy W and Doug (kudbgud) shot out the window the whole drive from Bryce into Zion last year!!!!

    Possible Waterton Accomodation:

    Crandell Mountain Lodge

Check the 3 room suites, sleep 6 for $160 per night off season.

Other options could be bed & breakfasts outside the park.

And check out this guys site - Calgary photog & workshop leader,

    Ann,
I just got back from Vegas, the Crandel Lodge looks good! :): and Nick's flight gets in the same time as mine right? Are we on the same connection from Chicago? That would be cool! It's flight 5841 by United/Skywest, departs 9:45 am Chicago (ORD) time and lands at Edmonton at 12:26pm

    Hi christina
    How was Vegas?
I'll bet that you and Nick are on the same flight, as he is from Chcago. That will be cool (and easy on me to pick you two up on the 18th).

I'll check for vacancies at the Crandel. I'll also ask for recommendations, as the only times I've stayed in Waterton, we have camped.

    How many sleeps?

beer.gif Looks like we're in the same flight. What are the chances. Can you choose your seat? I've never flown United before, I'll check and see if I can. Maybe we could coordinate sitting next to each other and chat a little before we get to Edmonton.

There are still lots of empty seats on our flight, I've chosen 17D, but about half of the seats are still available. I booked through Expedia and they allow you to choose seats. :):

We'll just look at the person asking for our loonie toonies like they're an alf and then ask for custard powder. (Well, YOU can ask for the custard powder, stuff looks nasty. :p) Then, they'll look at you like you've gone berko and you can say, "What?! You want my bickies!"

    eek7.gif

I'll just walk around saying "Y'all" and dropping my "g's" and calling people "hon", so they'll think I'm a damp squib anyway. (Jut kidding about the "hon" part.)

Mine is $586, but that's from BWI (Baltimore/Washington International) to Chicago - Chicago to Edmonton and then the return trip again through Chicago.
