I feel honored...
I was going to watch 60 Minutes tonight, but instead wound up reading 46 pages...
This is one awesome thread. So it seems that Sid has vanished. My question is who is still here that was present in the first few days (i.e. five or ten pages) of this thread? I think you're a part of history.
BTW, when I clicked on the limo link, Sid's picture was there, so they must have come to some kind of understanding.
I'm honored to take part in such a historic thread.

Oh, and bump...
Thank you for reading it through!
And yes, we're here!
Nah, it's more like you get to meet with Al Gore... or at least some of his lawyers...
Morning, Nik!

It is the purpose of life that each of us strives to become actually what he is potentially. We should be obsessed with stretching towards that goal through the world we inhabit.
I think you just enjoy playing devil's advocate, Nik.
I wonder if Sid regrets typing these words.

I was watching An Inconvenient Truth this evening when I saw a very familiar image.
They zoomed in a quite a bit, and made the taillights more red... but it's this pic all right.
Now I'm torn. Not sure if it's worth a big hassle to get the $150 they owe me. Or if I should spend a lot of time and effort to hold them accountable.
You should definitely pursue this. I have had copyright infringements before and I always pursue mine. There are other things to consider than just the download charge that you would normally expect. And I would suggest asking for a large settlement. This is Paramount that you are dealing with and they should be held accountable for an unacceptable practice. If this is truly the case.

Rob, welcome to Dgrin!
I would sincerely recommend to read a bit further than just the lead post. You may get a better idea of what has been going on here... for a couple of years now:-)

After 48 pages and 2 years worth of writing, I'm feeling bad for Al Gore now ! He has to put up with so many people saying they have the copyrights to his images.:cry You know, its not fair to him.:cry He crawled up onto that bridge and stuck his lens out that fence. I heard he used a Kodak disposable camera though, hence the poor quality.
