I'm not exactly a photographer and I don't even post much, but how about...
"Letters of the Alphabet" - anything that can be found in nature that looks like a letter of the alphabet. B&W would probably set these photos off nicely, but color could work too.

I would like to see images that challenge us to experience features on the camera that we tend to ignore, like the EV correction.
How about shots that utilize a full +3 or -3 stops of exposure correction? This can give an otherwise normal image a beautiful artistic look, or it can turn it into a mess. It all depends on the application and the photographer.
A Black & White shot taken in color. No Photoshop manipulation. I tried this once, not as easy to find as I thought. You were to take a shot that would look like a Black & White with just one small spot of color to indicate it was taken in color. Why else do you think I would be taking photos in the J Paul Getty women's bathroom????? :flush
How about something we do in the bass fishing world when trying to learn a new lure? We take that 1 lure with us out on the water and we are only allowed to use that one for the day.
Maybe choose only 1 Photoshop element to use and everyone has to stick with that one element.
Such fun ideas, and it will get us outside too! ;~)

I saw an old beat up building next to a modern one the other day, and it gave me that idea, like a very old car next to a new one, or old people with little kids, etc.

Photograph things you shouldn't be photographing, in places that you aren't allowed to go.
It means "deceive the eye" in French. Here is my best trompe l'oeil effort:
