Not a bug. "Slideshow Style" is not a theme choice, it's a viewing style choice, we remember your last viewing style via a cookie -- so if you last looked via slideshow, then the next time you go to a gallery, you'll get slideshow.

Why does this link still work? The picture has been already deleted. It came to my attention as a visitor that came from google accessed the link. Maybe you should direct the links of deleted photos to the first gallery page which they were part before deletion and show a small message saying that the requested picture was deleted.

I can't browse past the first page of keyworded photos in any gallery style for both IE and Firefox when I'm viewing 2 or more keywords. ne_nau.gif You can sample the issue at any of the links above.

The single keyword works fine: http://dgrin.smugmug.com/keyword/canon/2

Thank you. Confirmed, and replicated. I've logged it in our bug system.

not really a bug, but kinda annoying

lightbox doesnt remember scroll position. if you're in a gallery and scroll down then activate lightbox, when you close lightbox the page is scrolled all the way to the top instead of where you were previously.

p.s. JT if you fix this i'll change my avatar :D

this one is a bug

image protection doesnt work in filmstrip.

the first image that comes up cannot be dragged to the desktop, however selecting a different image from the filmstrip allows the main image to be dragged onto the desktop.

Quirk: show-hide busted for user referrals?
For the longest time I've noticed something on my Customization page:

65974390-O.jpg

Why do my smugmug news and pro sales sections compact themselves nicely when I click "hide", but not the user referrals section? In fact, there seems to be no difference between show / hide for this section.

Hopefully from the screenshot you should be able to see what I mean. Cleraly, "hide" has been selected for all three sections, but the user referral section is still "showing"... And no, I'm not pulling anyone's leg, I didn't photoshop the pic.

What gives? No biggie, I just wanted to know why this is.

Take care everyone and keep up the fantastic work,
-Matt-

[edit] Oh, sorry if I was supposed to post this in here. I have an aversion to big, long sticky help topics cause it's so easy for a report to go un-noticed. But obviously someone noticed my topic and moved it here, so that goes to show something I guess. Do any other Smug-Muggers notice this show-hide condidtion on their own control panels?
[edit II] ...I figured this would go un-noticed in here!

I uploaded some images on Saturday night and one, and only one, of the images still says "Processing Images". Link here:
http://gluwater.smugmug.com/gallery/1391849/5/65790650

I could delete the image and re-upload it but I didn't want to mess with it since it was still processing.

This happens every now and again. As Smugmug uses first come first serve for processing, you can be fairly confident that it will never finish.

Advise I got in such circumstances was to delete and reupload, which worked fine.

Cheers,

Luke

Weird bug - how to think you have a zillion referrals
Here's a strange bug. When logged out, go to this link:
http://friend.smugmug.com/homepage/referrals.mg?UserID=47525. This is a bookmark for the list of referrals page in one of my accounts. When I'm logged out, and I go to this link, I see 495 referrals which are not actually referrals on my account. I don't know who they are actually for. I briefly got excited thinking that referrals had gone nuts on my account, but lo and behold, they aren't really mine.

Most people probably wouldn't see this bug. I just ran into it because I had a bookmark to it and I had cleaned cookies out (thus losing my login).

viewing an empty cart and then selecting 'continue browsing' returns you to your gallery under https instead of http

viewing cart with items -> continue browsing does not return you in secure mode.

When you enter a password incorrectly you are forwarded to a page with no cobranding. For an example enter the wrong password here.

What happened to the links for my original images?

I have some galleries where I set the option to allow users to view the original size image, but there's no way to view them! The links page for each photo only lists URLs for tiny, thumbnail, small, medium, and large. It used to list the URL for the original size image too. I remember using it several times before.

How can I get a URL that will work to access my original image?

This gallery allows original size images...
http://micknewton.smugmug.com/gallery/1409192/1/66746491

When I click the 'O' link under the photo, the screen changes to a strange looking slideshow window, with the original gallery page ghosted underneath it. However, it does display the image in its original size. I was mistaken about this part.

My problem is on the links, forums, blogs page. There is no URL listed for the original size image.

I would like the URL for the original size image to be available to me at all times, and only available to the public when the 'Allow Originals' option is set for that gallery.

That would be like... groovy daddy-o. <img src="https://us.v-cdn.net/6029383/emoji/thumb.gif" border="0" alt="" >

<edited to add>
P.S. Change the [x] at the top of that slideshow window to [close] or something. I wasn't sure if pressing it would delete the photo or what.
