When you link to a photo, make sure you link to your online photo, you can not link to a photo on you local computer.
It's all explained pretty well in this post. Make sure you read it thoroughly, if you have any specific questions, I am more than happy to help you out.
Does anyone know if Blogger allows external posting? I started my first thread with three pics I have on my blog and I could see them in dgrin (probably because of cache?). Now here's the weird part, some dgrinners could see them, some couldn't - why would that be?
I understand how to upload via attatchment (but don't like it) but I really don't want to do that because of the nasty limits. Any thoughts?

Pleas check the GALLERY SETTINGS from the gallery you are linking from, to be sure that external links are enabled. We can't see your photos until you allow that
One of the unique things about dgrin is your unlimited ability to post photos here. And we really want you to take advantage of that to share with us your shots.
If you're not sure how to post a photo, it's dead easy. So easy we have an illustrated guide. Just click here and you'll see a post called "Wanna Post a Pic Here?" It will show you everything you need to know.

waiting for elements 5.0 to arrive and I will then open smugmug account ...
but can you tell my why the link to the pic at picasaweb won't work..
what am I doing wrong to upload from my computer???

ALso some sites block "external links" and so while you may be able to see it, because it's in your browser's cache, we won't be able to see it.

Yea! That worked! Guess my main share site blocks them.
i can't seem to get this to work.
i hit the image box and paste in this... http://samswartz.smugmug.com/gallery/2959128#181662443-L-LB
And it gives me the broken link picture. What might i be doing wrong? I do have my gallery set up to allow me to allow external links.
If there's any one out there that sees this i'd appreciate the help!!!
