So, do you think I could post an ad in the "For Sale" forum for myself? I can cook and clean. I come with three horses, two vehicles, three cameras (of course they are nikons...). I can speak english and I get by with spanish. I can cuss out people you don't like in a smattering of other languages. All I require????

    Traveling money.

headscratch.gif Hmmm, I don't think there would be any takers. Maybe I have to go to eBay?

All joking aside though. This sounds so amazing. I hope that everyone who gets to go has a simply WONDERFUL time. I am so jealous of all of you!

And the funniest part of it is that I just attended a 23-bottle scotch tasting at a friend's house on Saturday.

Scotland the beautiful! Everyone get their passports ready.

I'm amazed that no one's mentioned bagpipes in this thread yet. For shame.

    Bagpipes

    there, I did it!

Sure wish I could go on this one - But Arches will be equally cool (if not a little more populated with photogs).

I knew, of course, that trees and plants had roots, stems, bark, branches and foliage that reached up toward the light. But I was coming to realize that the real magician was light itself.

Oh dear, this is sorely tempting though we have a new baby arriving in February and I'm not sure how well it would go down with the wife.

I think it might be pushing it, but I'll probably procrastinate until all the places are taken anyway.

    Sigh....

    I'm in.

Dietary restrictions: no vegetables. Bacon whenever possible. Milk and whiskey for breakfast.

Medical conditions: Sore feet, really can't walk very far. That won't be a problem, will it?

Photography experience: I get a headache every time I try to shoot a landscape. I'm leaving some lenses at home so I can pack more Advil.

Is that English bacon, Canadian bacon or American bacon. Need to be much more specific on this one to avoid disappointment!

I already decided I was going to Scotland when this trip was suggested at the Wild Utah workshop. I love it when a plan comes together. I'm IN !!! :D

IIRC, English bacon is thick and meaty.

    That one!
