I think it looks fine, although I would've changed the embossing on your signature, looks a little too "Hey guys I just bought adobe! (most people refer to photoshop as adobe when they don't know much)"
The tag line, or slogan, is kind of hard to read because of the picture being right there. Maybe its the gradient you have on it?
And I think the contact info should have a little different font than what you have, and maybe even a tad smaller?
Just my opinion - All in all I think its a good starting point, needs some work, but will be fine for now.

I really wanted it to have that 3D stamped look and I wanted it to be black so had to put a little highlighting behind it in order to see it with the black background. I had played around with different options before deciding on this. I had thought about not using the beveled edge and highlighting and just making the signature silver or grey, but it looked very blah and didn't look as elegant as the black on black. What would your suggestion be for the signature?
On the tagline, I tried grey and you couldn't see it over the picture, of course black you can't see over the background... I went with the gradient look so it changes colors as the backgorund changes. It may be something I change on my next batch.

Here is mine, it too is a really bad scan of it. I need to figure out how to better use my scanner to get better results. The card looks great in person.

I would lose the camera...it's way too distracting and very amateurish IMO. I really like the signature "graphic" but it gets lost on your business name. If you could some how separate the two, I think it would look ten times better.

I'm all for continuity. Your card is black & white and your website logo has color. Pick one.

I agree with Hikin' Mike. The camera in the background of your card definitely gives a non-professional look to your card. I don't think the brand of the camera you use (should) matter to your potential customers. What matters is the quality of your shots.

I like this card Bob, nice and clean. The only thing I personnaly would change is adding a phone number or e-mail below your website, but that's just a matter of personal taste.

I think it would look better if there were text only on one side of the card. I'd move the photo to one side or the other (probably to the right because of the way your model is standing, with the text on the left) , blur the background a bit more, and use bolder text.

I generally don't like photo business cards. As it is right now it looks too busy. If you must use this photo, then I agree with Denise, move all of the text to the left.

I think I used 6pt-8pt font on my most recent card... its really small.. as I was warned by hikin' mike... its still readable, just small.. old people would not be able to read it, but they're not my primary target demographic... so it works.
I have two opinions of non-standard sizes. The first is they're difficult to file with other cards. That said, the odd size make them easy to find and more importantly, they stand out from others. I'd like option 1.
