Can you confirm whether this hack is working for you now ?
Actually zooming thumbnails
Thanks,
David
After moving the addEvent(window, "load", addBulkThumbnail); code back to the footer the BZT seems to be working in all galleries. Funny...it was working in some last night. But in others I got the "originals" error. But the settings in all gallaries were that same....
But it seems to be working now. Worked in galleries previously zoomed w/ old code too.....

I'm getting the "requires access to originals" error. But the hack is getting farther then it was before this latest round of changes. If that's of any help.

Can you please post extra info on the "requires access to originals" error message, ie the stuff in the quotes.

I found an issue for you....
If I put the gallery in traditional view, not all the images show up when bulk zoom is clicked. Therefore not all are zoomed. But also, only those that were zoomed show up in the gallery thumbs after the BZT finishes.
I have to set gallery to all thumbs unless there are say 12 or less pics.
There are some optimisation settings that can be changed in FF to improve the time to load and process with the BZT. I can't seem to find them right now, I will get in touch with bwg when he comes online.

anthony, are you saying that not all the photos on the screen show up in traditional view, or not all the photos in the gallery show up in traditional view?

I'll try to be more clear this time....
If I put the gallery in traditional view, then slect BZT, only a portion of the gallery shows up for me to zoom on. After zooming them and saving them, then only the portion that was zoomed shows up on the screen. If I then switch to all thumbs all pics show up on the screen. But or course not all have been zoomed. I hope this makes sense.

it makes sense in that it's working correctly.
the BZT will only zoom the thumbs that are currently displayed on the screen.
in smugmug small view it will only zoom the 9 thumbs displayed, 15 for smugmug large, 16 in traditional etc...
you were thinking that in traditional view it would zoom thumbnails for the entire gallery?
Fixed the problem experienced by several users, getting the "requires access to originals" error when galleries had image protection enabled.
Hi Devbobo,
I can't thank you enough for providing this valuable tool freely to us. That is awfully kind of you. I think I'm close however for some reason I've got "two" bulk zooms coming up but I have triple checked that I do not have duplicates in my code.
Could you be as so kind to help me out at this juncture?

Don't worry about that - it's unrelated to Dev's code. That should be fixed at some point soon, we hope
yeah but when I click one, it just cycles through and then unchecks itself (the second) and the first one just brings up a hundred windows of errors (in FF).

it says in a pop up window
"error: bulk zoom thumbnail requires access to originals '61692042' 'M' '600' '439'" but it cycles through a bunch of numbers however it ends on that one

okay...I've done everything needed to implement this however I'm doing something wrong.
I put the java in the java,
the css in the css
and put the header/footer in the header, then the footer and now both...but I am not having success.
Could someone please be as so kind to tell me what I've done wrong as so I can fix this?
thank you so much!

As Ivar said, it looks like you have two copies of the BZT code in your javascript section.
Delete the second bit of code.

"error: bulk zoom thumbnail requires access to originals '61692042' 'M' '600' '439'" but it cycles through a bunch of numbers however it ends on that one
