Hi all!
Hi all, I have very recently moved into smugmug and still trying to setup my page. I am just a vacation photographer, and it also kind of ties with my other favorite - going on long drives. I have a Rebel XT and some nice as well as (paper-weight ) glasses - and a couple of point and shoots that I sometimes use.
Hope to get some time out from my day job to lurk in this forum.
btw, here is the only legal "self-portrait" that I have
Hello To You
My name is Allison and I just recently moved to Kentucky. I haven't been able to find alot of people here interested in photography so that's why I've wanted to get involved with SmugMug. I own a Canon XSi and wouldn't mind doing this full time but I know I need to get much better. I hope everyone had a Happy New Year.
Hi all, great community and I'm looking forward to being involved and learning a lot. I'm trying to branch out into portrait photography from 23 years of sign making and I need all the help I can get!
Well I dropped off the face of the earth for a little over a year, but I am finally back now! hehe My name is Cynthia. I live in Arlington Texas. I have been into photography since I was 10 and have been going it professionally for about 4 years now with a 1 year break after a nasty divorce.

Hi there! Another total newbie saying hello here! I have to say, I set up my smugmug site (LOVE IT!) with much assistance from the threads here at Digital Grin, and this site rocks! Looking forward to getting more involved here now that the site is up and running!
Oh, yeah, my avatar is my latest self-port. I resort to this when the rest of my household goes on strike! lol

Hi everybody. I'm new to the site, and I love it. I've been customizing it a little the past couple days. Stumbled on this thread so I thought I'd show my "mug" too. Be afraid, be very afraid.
How do I get my quote to show up in white font?

Hi Shark and welcome to Dgrin. I looked at your sig and there is no text in it. I suggest you just delete the sig and start over. It's usually best not specify colors, as some can become unreadable if the viewer chooses certain styles. The default is white text on a black background.

Hello, hola!!
Hi, I am new to smugmug and my site is up and running. I am a professional photog and I figured I probably needed a site to make it official. My primary focus is landscapes and action photography but I have dabbled in many other areas as well. Recently I just returned from Argentina and Costa Rica and the picture below is from backpacking Mt. Fitz Roy in Patagonia. Please feel free to check out my site and leave any comments that you might have. Thank you and Cheers!!! Greg Stafford
My name is Will. I'm trying to get rich quick. Unfortunately setting sandwich traps isn't going so well for me so I'm going to fall back onto my photography skills.
On a scale of 1 to 10, my awesomeness goes all the way to 11.
Brand New to Smug Mug
Hi folks,
Wanted to introduce myself and let everyone know my site is up and running. It took me a week to complete it but am pleased with how it turned out. I wanted to share it's at www.foreverinart.com hope you enjoy it.
I'd like to thank everyone for the support. Between the help page on smugmug and all the tutorials with dgrin and about 5 Emails for help I was able to get the site the way I wanted it. Thanks again,
Lisa

If I post it, please tell me how to make it better. My fragile ego can take it.
