    I am. So far, Gus and I are going to drive up. I'm thinking about SFO to
    PDX to SLC sort of thing. Home via SLC/LAS/LAX kind of thing--a giant
    loop. But we've got time to decide...

    I just got back from vacation and was checking the thread and Im so happy that so many people from last year could come out again. I need all the protection from wild animals I can get. mwink.gif

    lol3.gif coming from a backpacker who has come face-to-face with many black bears and only seen a grizzly twice close up that they are very rare. normally they just see you and run off. but occasionaly they do come up to check you out. best bet is to climb a tree with a grizzly because they're land roamers and not made for climbingthumb.gif

    Wow..... Im drooling. I also looked at train rides and I think I may be taking the amtrak out there with my own sleeping room. It looks like it will be a fun ride.
