SmugMug Gallery Display Mode
I can't see photos on my PC if I choose "SmugMug" Gallery Mode. The other gallery modes that I have tried seem OK. I am able to see my photos in smugmug mode if (!!!) I turn off my firewall. Do others have issues w/viewing photos vs firewalls?
I have just stumbled across a bug today. I had logged into my own account yesterday and had the stats page downloaded and opened. I put my computer to sleep and later in the day, I refreshed the page again to get an update of the stats. The numbers were totally different and all the gallery names were all renamed as My Smug Mug. When I then clicked on each of the galleries, it took me to another user's photo galleries (someone who I do not know and is a complete stranger to me). This basically meant that I was inadvertently given access to someone else's account through their stats pages. Stats themselves may not necessarily cause big privacy issues, although they are only accessible by the account holder. What concerns me though is that it means I could have accessed this other user's private galleries through their stats without them knowing.
I couldn't find any info on this in the other threads. Is Smugmug aware of this security issue?
Obviously, I don't want to put links to the galleries of the other user, but if admin requires more info, please email me directly.
Christine, you should have an answer coming back from your mail to the help desk right now (I just hit send.) I think I fixed you up, let us know if not.

Visitor View - photo count
I've looked and don't see this addressed anywhere. When I use visitor view to preview what my visitors see, the photo counts include hidden photos.
For example, When I'm viewing a list of sub-categories, it shows the sub-category and "1 galleries with 490 photos." But only 201 photos are "visible" to visitors in that 1 gallery. When you go into the gallery it shows the correct count.
Unable to Buy Multiple Photos
I was making some pricing changes in my POSTERS gallery (http://BELphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/4300067_ow6qY/1/252037389_ursn4) using my Firefox (3.0.1) browser. I attempted to use my IE7 browser to check on my handiwork, when I select Buy Multiple Photos, it stalls every time. Very consistent. If I log off my account in Firefox, and go to the gallery in Firefox, same result.
I have some other issues in this gallery as well. The first two three photos, I specifically set the pricing as $0.00 for the image so they will show up but not be available for sale. However, only the third photo abides by this rule. This also occurs in IE7 and Firefox.
When I select another gallery to test the multi purchase option, the results are worse. Selecting ORDINARY PEOPLE http://BELphotos.smugmug.com/gallery/3627323_2H4gz/1/233285349_H5VpU shows all the photos. When I select Buy Multiple Photos - they all show "Photo not available for this product" and a faded photo behind. Only one photo actually shows.
Here is some additional info. I am on the COMCAST network in NJ at this time and have noticed that anytime I go to SmugMug there is a general malaise in my browsers. Hitting the request for the page generally helps to push the page to me. This does not work all the time. Thought I might have a little bug somewhere. Checked and scrubbed, all is okay, so I think it is safe to rule that out. I'm on a laptop PC and a router and they are performing well.
Lightbox does not auto size 1:1 ratio pictures correctly
Pictures with a ratio of 1:1 do not autosize correctly in lightbox. They are way too small. here is an example.

Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I'll let the engineers know.

As usual any help is appreciated.
Ok, the timing out issue... I'm not sure. I'm going to have to play with this some. I'm not sure why it's not loading properly. Give me some time on that.
The Ordinary People gallery is a different story. You have one photo in that gallery that is priced for a 4x6. The Buy Multiples page brings up the first print size on the list that is available for that gallery. So, since you have one 4x6 for sale, it brings that up as the product. But since all the other photos don't have 4x6 available as a print size, it shows all the others as being unavailable for that size. Change the product to 5x7 and they will all show as being for sale. Or, remove the 4x6 as a print size from that one photo and you will see that it goes straight to 5x7 as the product.

Okay - understood on the Ordinary People gallery. My error. I thought I eliminated all of the 4x6 prints in that gallery by $0.00. I will correct. Thanks for looking into the issue as well.

We've tried to get to all the bugs reported here. Some need more looking into, which we are doing. If there's more info on those, please post on the new thread.

I emailed you yesterday with some questions. Did you get that? In your reply to that email, you can put ATTN: Dustin in the subject line.
Thanks Andy.
Thando, no, I didn't receive an email from you. My address is lookingglassphotography@iinet.net.au. I'll wait to hear from you again. Thanks.

When I go on my page, click galleries, all categories, subcategories disappeared.
http://touscrins.smugmug.com/galleries
I I click in one of the galleries, it does show the normal structure like this for instance
TousCrins > Egyptian Event 08 > The Scene > barn parties
What happened. Is it just me?

I have a keyword in over 1000 photo's, but the keywork URL does not pick them all up. Is there a limit?
For example, http://photos.pancamo.com/gallery/5309290_nAB7o#340351520_eNq9s is keyworded with "ava pancamo", however it does not show up in http://photos.pancamo.com/keyword/ava+pancamo#341674000_4wtE5
did I miss something?
Thanks for bringing that to our attention. I'll let the engineers know.

There's no limit. I'm seeing 1081 with that those keywords at this location:

Are there more?
